The timing (just before Christmas) meant that Workplace Relations and Safety Minister Iain Lees-Galloway's announcement of a new health and safety strategy garnered little attention. The strategy sets out a direction for New Zealand's workplace health and safety over the next 10 years — developed by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, WorkSafe New Zealand and a range of stakeholders.
