APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED.
If so, NZISM is able to offer you a valuable professional development opportunity.
For the first time since its inception, the NZISM Governance Forum has a limited number of openings and is accepting new applications.
The Governance Forum is a cohort of similarly focused NZISM members who meet online to enhance their knowledge and understanding of governance and related best practice. They are regularly joined by some of New Zealand's most highly regarded Health and Safety leaders who share their experience and insights.
The forum convenes online bi-monthly, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm.
Membership is open to all suitably experienced OHS professionals who are members of NZISM. This will usually mean members who hold the role of OHS Manager or above. Membership might be of particular interest to those who have previously undertaken leadership roles within NZISM (eg. Branch Managers) and whose term of office has come to an end. However, this is by no means a requirement.
If you are interested in applying to join the Governance Forum you will need to answer two questions:
To apply, please send an email to cpd@nzism.org before Monday 26 February at 5pm.

Applications will be reviewed by the Governance Forum Chair and NZISM Operations Manager.
Due to limited spaces available, acceptance into the Forum cannot be guaranteed.
We will let you know of your success within 3 weeks of the closing date.
Thank you for joining the Women in Safety Excellence (WISE) network.
We hold various online and face-to-face events throughout the year and if one occurs near you, we would love to meet you in person.
LinkedIn - Please make sure you join our LinkedIn group to stay connected and on top of our planned webinars and events. We encourage you to post anything in the WISE group page that you think other network members would find useful or inspiring. Please don't be shy. The more we reach out, the more we connect with each other, and the more we can help each other on our journeys.
We might send you the occasional email but our web page on the NZISM website is always the best place to go for an overview of what's coming up in the WISE calendar.
Best wishes,
Margaret van Schaik
WISE Chair
