The Opportunity
Join our DuluxGroup Safety and Sustainability team in Auckland as our S&S Advisor!
You will work directly with site and business leadership teams to drive effective and efficient management of all significant S&S risks. This exciting role will see you split your time between our Auckland Powder Coating factory and the Trade Centres of the area.
Day to day you’ll:
-Analyse site and business S&S risks and develop improvement plans in line with DuluxGroup and Powders ANZ S&S Strategies
-Implement S&S improvement activity at our Auckland factory and trade centres
-Manage S&S regulatory and licensing compliance and participate in internal and external audit programs
-Support line managers with initial incident & injury response & reporting and lead incident investigation processes
-Manage return to work process for DuluxGroup NZ businesses, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate treatment and timely return to work.
What you will bring and develop
We are looking for an experienced individual, who has managed to implement successful safety initiatives in an industrial environmental that includes major hazards. In addition to your strong influencing skills and adaptability, you will bring to the role:
-Tertiary qualifications in specialist S&S discipline or related field
-At least five years proven S&S experience in high consequence risk manufacturing organisations, such as FMCG, pharmaceutical, food processing, mining
-Experience in HSNO regulatory requirements & certification processes
-Experience in managing ACC work related claims and employee return to work
-Well-developed analytical and root-cause identification skills
-The ability to seek out improvements and drive process enhancements.
