We have a great 6-month fixed term opportunity for a Safety & Business Risk Advisor to join our team from 12 April 2021 to cover a period of parental leave. The role will report to and work closely with our GM Safety & Business Risk and responsibilities will include:

• Managing the audit schedule

• Conducting audits (including internal HSEQ audit)

• Administering the health and safety component of contractor prequalification

• Conducting and overseeing Contractor monitoring

• Assisting with incident investigations and incident reviews

• Co-ordinating the annual management review

• Assisting with risk assessments and risk reviews

You will support a positive safety culture underpinned by effective safety conversations including listening and seeking to learn about any potential influences on risk.

To successfully deliver these tasks you will have proven HSE experience including auditing, incident investigation, contractor management and risk management. You will have excellent organisation and communication skills and be comfortable working with a varied workforce. Familiarity with Vault (notify, check, contractor) is preferred.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work 24 hours per week. Hours must include every Monday and Friday with flexible options for the remaining hours, which could include working in with school hours.
