Our Power Services Business Unit is seeking to appoint a Health Safety Quality and Environment (HSEQ) Coordinator who is passionate about HSEQ performance and who can drive best practice and operational excellence to new levels.

We are looking for someone who can champion and support our HSEQ requirements. The successful candidate will be able to promote a positive and proactive safety culture by clearly communicating to those around what the organisational goals and expectations are and to ensure that actions and behaviours are fully aligned to those goals.

The successful person will be part of the Power Services Business Unit team. Critical to this role will be the person’s ability to work with other regional HSEQ people and with other business units across Electrix. The role is based in Mt Wellington but will require some travel to our regional offices and work sites around the country.

Qualifications / Experience / Technical Knowledge / Skills

· HSEQ qualification.

· IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent (preferred but not essential)

· Accident investigation training (ICAM or other)

· Audit training

· A minimum of five years’ experience in a HSEQ or Compliance environment.

· Good understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and associated regulations and their application in the workplace.

· Experience with Risk management, Incident Investigations and Auditing Programmes.

· Ability to develop and deliver training packages to enhance HSEQ performance.

· Ability to work alongside workers, supervisors and managers with a shared purpose of continually improving work processes.

· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels across the business.

· Ability to transfer and apply knowledge and skills to new situations and environments, consistently applying knowledge and skills to a standard of performance required in the workplace.
