Bay Venues Ltd manages the network of recreational facilities in Tauranga including the iconic Baypark & Trustpower Arena facility, the High Performance Centre, aquatic facilities, indoor sporting facilities, community centres and halls. We offer a broad range of programmes, events and venues across Tauranga and the wider region, and in doing so, aim to deliver the highest standard of customer service and excellent value to Tauranga residents and visitors to our region.
We currently have vacancies for two full time Health and Safety Advisors. Based at Trustpower Baypark, you will work closely with our facility managers across all Bay Venues sites. This is a busy, hands-on role where you will ensure compliance and continuous improvement of Bay Venues Health and Safety Management systems. We are seeking pragmatic, logical and energetic people with exceptional influencing skills. As we operate programmes and activities in many different industries this is an interesting health and safety role so your varied and wide ranging experience will be put to good use.
You will have excellent knowledge of Safety Differently principles and methodology and ideally have experience in implementing this across an organisation. You will hold a health and safety qualification, have an excellent understand of the HSAW and ACC Acts, the ability to meet deadlines and experience in report writing and analytics.
Your experience in multi-hazard, multi-site environments and your demonstrated passion for continuous improvement will see you shine in this role. Experience with ecoPortal software would also be advantageous.
