The Role

Reporting to the GM People and Culture the main function of this role is to effectively lead and implement the Health and Safety initiatives and audit recommendations across the business. You will guide and advise on all aspects of Health and Safety compliance and legislation and manage the strategic approach to reach the required H&S business objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Identify and mitigate risks

- Investigate and report on incidents

- Implementation of compliance programs

- Manage portfolio of audit assignments

- Provide specialist advice on interpretation and application of policies and procedures

- Insights and reporting

- Data collection and analysis

About You

- Experience in an H&S leadership role

- Tertiary qualification in a related safety or health discipline

- Strong engagement and communication skills

- Naturally driven and able to operate in an autonomous fashion

- Commercially aware with an ability to develop relationships

- Excellent written and verbal reasoning skills
