About the role

Reporting to the Group Manager Health, Safety and Environment this role works alongside senior members of the HSE team, allowing for broad exposure to the wide range of HSE activities undertaken to keep our people safe and healthy and ensure they go Home Safe Every Day.

The key responsibilities of this position include supporting HSE inductions for all new employees, contractors and students, assisting with reporting for a range of audiences, coordinating HSE Site, and Rep meetings, updating and maintaining HSE signage and support materials, and building relationships allowing you to work collaboratively across the business to ensure our existing initiatives are supported and new initiatives (including our wellbeing strategy) are successfully implemented.

You will also provide support to the team with ad-hoc coordination and administration tasks as required.

About you

We're looking for someone who is passionate about health and safety and wants to share their passion with others.

To be successful in this role you will:

•have previous experience in an HSE administration or coordination role; preferably with an understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and other relevant legislation

•be an enthusiastic team player with strengths in relationship building

•connect with and be passionate about supporting our mission of 'Home Safe Every Day' and contributing to a positive Health and Safety mindset and culture

•be a confident communicator who can deliver messaging in a clear, concise manner through different mediums to a range of audiences

•be an enthusiastic learner looking to constantly grow on both a personal and professional level. You're quick to learn new skills and always on the lookout for new ways to develop your skills and increase your knowledge.
