We are currently looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our Moutere Management team in Brightwater, Tasman.
Moutere Management Ltd oversees an extensive, diverse business portfolio including DC Equipment -global suppliers of steep slope logging equipment, Moutere Logging, The Logger Shop in Brightwater. Going beyond meeting minimum responsibilities and complying with legislation, they are driven by wanting to improve health and safety for employees, customers and the wider forestry and logging industry.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and facilitating Health, Safety and Wellness across all companies and functions of the Moutere Group. You will also be responsible for undertaking audits, reviewing and developing systems and strategies and working alongside operational teams to advise and coach best practice Health and Safety.

To be considered for this position, you will need to hold a relevant qualification in Health and Safety & have significant experience in a similar Health and Safety role (minimum 3-5 years).
You will also need to demonstrate:
Working knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and its amendments
Confident in training facilitation and presenting to groups
High standards of professionalism and personal presentation
Strong administration and organisation skills
The ability to work in a complex work environment
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
Forestry industry knowledge beneficial
