About the role
With operational sites across NZ, PNG and Fiji, this growing Australian business is seeking an experienced Food Safety specialist to support the business over the coming months. Working alongside the incumbent NZ Quality Manager to deliver a key project, you will also ensure ISO 9001 and FSSC compliance.
The scope of work will include a review of all NZ policies and procedures ensuring that these are both appropriate and maintained. You will assist with the internal and external audit program, actioning any major findings. You will also collaborate with management to ensure Food Safety (HACCP) plans are implemented and adhered to.
An ability to build robust relationships across operations is key. Crucially, you must have a strong understanding of ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000. Given the scope of work, a strong attention to detail and competency-based training is essential.
