Bow tie is a barrier management method first developed in oil and gas but now used across many industry sectors. It’s a great way to engage a diverse group in visualising the resources needed to manage a critical risk and identifying key performance indicators for assurance.

Bio:

Dan Davis is a chartered health and safety professional with over 15 years’ experience working across a diverse range of workplaces. Part of his current role is delivering bowtie training for Impac who are a Corporate Supporter of NZISM. What drives Dan is a passion for helping organisations and individuals to re-think health and safety risk management and practice.
