All members can join in this useful Taranaki branch webinar, as they welcome WorkSafe hazardous substance inspector, Susan Barrett, to discuss how the hazardous substance regulations and other related health and safety legislation may apply to your workplace.

Susan will be covering:

Essential requirements if you have hazardous substances at your workplace
Safe storage, handling, and use of hazardous substances, including disposal of hazardous waste
New requirements for substances that are harmful to health
Emergency response planning for hazardous substances
Shared or overlapping responsibilities for management of hazardous substances
Risk management for hazardous substances
Examples will be given showing some of the issues inspectors have found at work places.

There will be time for your questions at the end of the presentation.
