Specialist Occupational Physician, Dr Simon Ryder-Lewis, was the first person we turned to when New Zealand went into Alert Level 4 lockdown. However, a lot has changed in 11 weeks and we are delighted to have Simon back to give us an update and answer any new questions we may have as we ease back into a new normal.
This follow-up Q&A session with Simon will be hosted by NZISM CEO, Selena Armstrong.
Dr Simon Ryder-Lewis works as a Specialist Occupational Physician for Work Health Solutions Ltd in Wellington. He qualified as a Medical Practitioner from Otago University in 1994. He holds several contracted Occupational Physician positions in the Wellington region but travels widely throughout New Zealand. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine and a member of the UK Society of Occupational Medicine. He is also a member of MEDICHEM (Occupational and Environmental Health in the Production and Use of Chemicals) and ICOH (International Commission on Occupational Health).
