We know how to rally in New Zealand - and so we did when Covid-19 came knocking on our door. As Health and Safety practitioners, key to our profession is seeking improvement opportunities from key learnings.
So, what did we learn during lockdown?
In this webinar, we will be hearing from three Health and Safety Practitioners from a variety of industries. We will be looking at how each of the workplaces geared up for lockdown and how they transitioned through the alert levels.
Denise Steele - is the H&S Manager at Teak Construction Group with 13 years’ experience as a Safety, Health, Environmental, Quality & Business Systems Manager, working in the construction, manufacturing, mining and drilling industries.
Robert Powell – is the HSE Manager at Auckland Council – AIM (Amenities and Infrastructure Maintenance) Services Department. He is a keen HOP/Safety Differently practitioner with a pragmatic approach towards safety management. These skills he honed during a colourful career in the Royal New Zealand Air Force and as the H&S Manager for the University of Auckland before joining Auckland Council.
Sue Mills - National SHE Manager at George Weston Foods (GWF). She is a Clear strategic thinker with strong communication and team building skills. Sue has international and national experience in a range of industries including energy, dairy and food manufacturing.
