Christchurch Branch will be hosting a panel discussion "COVID from the Frontline" where representatives from essential services (NZ Police, Foodstuffs, Lyttelton Port Company, MainPower) will be discussing how their organisation managed during the pandemic, the sorts of challenges they faced, and key learnings they took away from the experience.
Karen Cameron - For over 20 years Karen has worked with leaders in high risk industries both here in New Zealand and Australia. Karen believes it's key to create a culture that engages hearts and minds, energises action and inspires commitment - and most importantly is led from the top.
Glen Johnson – Glen is the Head of Health, Safety, and Learning at Lyttelton Port Company. He has have been at the port for just over 4 years and prior to that spent some time in the Healthcare sector after coming back from the Pilbara desert in Western Australia. Glen had spent about 8 years in the Pilbara having moved there from his role as Learning and Development Specialist with New Zealand Aluminium Smelters.
Tina Lange - Tina has been Health & Safety Manager for the Foodstuffs Hornby Distribution Centre for 2 years having previously worked in construction H&S and also the automotive industry.
Jill Williamson - Jill has been Health & Safety Advisor for NZ Police in Canterbury for 2 years. She began her H&S career at Tait Communications before moving to ACC where where she worked as an Injury Prevention and Management Consultant
