If there’s one thing that COVID-19 has given us in spades, its paradoxical situations—contradictions, competing priorities, and conflicting demands. For example, when a client tells their contractors to abide by social distancing rules, but the job makes this impossible, what’s a safety manager to do? Following our presenters' in-depth interviews from across 12 industries, they discovered many paradoxes that created challenges in safety management. In this webinar we uncover the paradoxes unleashed by COVID-19, celebrate the innovation and determination of safety managers to navigate these perplexing situations, and explore how embracing rather than avoiding paradoxes could be the key to organisational success into the future
