Grant Nicholson will highlight some important and interesting recent cases from the courts and explain the key areas WorkSafe is emphasizing when investigating incidents. This will include the nature and extent of required consultation between duty holders and WorkSafe's approach to the personal duties on officers and workers.

BIO:

Grant is one of New Zealand's leading health and safety lawyers, and also serves as a director on the Board of the NZISM. He has been part of the health and safety community for 15 years and is well known for his expertise helping clients respond to incidents and implement sound systems, risk management and governance to prevent incidents from occurring.
