Word has got back to us via the survey that not all members are comfortable with the idea of CPD, why it's important for them as an OHS practitioner/professional, how they undertake it, and how it can be embedded and evidenced through reflective practice.
This webinar takes the form of a panel discussion with CEO Selena Armstrong, Bruce Campbell, and Desai Link. Let us help you make sense of CPD and set you on a fruitful path this coming new year!
Bruce has been a Health and Safety professional for over 30 years, as an Environmental Health Officer, which included health and safety as a key component of that skill set; and as a Health and Safety Manager/Consultant. To be effective, Bruce works with people from all backgrounds and from all levels of an organisation.
Bruce is a Chartered Fellow of IOSH(CFIOSH) and a Certified Fellow of NZISM(CertFellNZISM). Bruce is an experienced trainer and has delivered a variety of training including IOSH approved courses, across a variety of industries and to personnel throughout the management spectrum.
Admitted as a lawyer in Western Australia, Desai has been working in OHS since 2010 in the transport, construction, hospitality, and oil and gas sectors.
During this time, he has been responsible for serious incident investigations, developing and implementing training programs, policies and OHS management systems, and has acted as an OHS expert witness in legal matters. Desai has worked on significant projects across New Zealand and Western Australia.
Desai’s experience in OHS is broad, but he has a particular interest in safety system efficacy, investigations, ethics, and continued professional development. Currently, he is GM Health & Safety at Brosnan Construction.
