Northland Branch Meeting: Carcinogens and Airborne Risks

Everyone is warmly invited to join NZISM Northland branch and special guest, Levi Mines, who will be clearing the fog regarding carcinogens and airborne risks in the workplace.

Levi Mines

Levi is an occupational hygienist who has been working as a technical specialist at WorkSafe NZ since 2021. Prior to that he spent three years as occupational hygienist for the Marsden Point oil refinery.

Levi will be talking about one of WorkSafe’s priority areas - Carcinogens and Airborne Risks. The talk and ensuing discussion will:

• prompt attendees to consider how these risks are currently being managed in their workplace;
• provide examples of good practice;
• clarify regulatory obligations; and
• highlight useful tools and resources.

Members can attend in person or via Zoom online.
