From a conversation at a branch Committee meeting came an idea of finding a way for members to come together and connect over a question or topic relevant to the current Health and Safety profession in New Zealand. Each month an NZISM branch manager will lead a discussion about a particular topic or pose a question which members can work together to answer.
For this meeting, Helen Bishell, Bay of Plenty Branch committee member, will lead a conversation about Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSP’s).
What is their purpose? Do they add value as a risk management tool or are they simply an administrative burden?
