We try something new and we make sure we've got the tools and support around us to help us succeed. And who better to help us gather those tools than Rob Cousins and his colleagues from the WorkSafe Innovation Team?
Join us at the Chalet where the WorkSafe Innovations Team will be facilitating a practical workshop dedicated to getting us out of Groundhog Day.
The first part of the workshop will be about identification, connection and sharing. We will unpack some common key issues such as:
and share our experiences of them in order to expand our understanding.
During the second part of the day, we will be exploring the conditions necessary to evoke change. What are they; how can they be created and nurtured; and what support is available to OHS professionals trying to embed change in their workplaces?
At the end of the day, we will have worked together to overcome barriers, develop new practices and grow the confidence necessary to change our approaches.
The Innovation Day is one of the Manawatu Branch highlights but it is too good an opportunity to keep to ourselves, so this one is open to everyone, member or not!
You will need to bring your own pen and paper for notes.
We look forward to seeing you there!
