We offer many volunteering opportunities so you can build your skills and connect with fellow professionals. Any member can get involved, with options to suit all skill and experience levels, and fit varying levels of commitment in terms of time and term of office.
There are important volunteer roles right through our organisation. Some are elected positions (eg. Governance Board and President) but many are by simple expressions of interest and these we have listed below.
Take a look and see which might suit you depending on your interests, experience and how much time you want to give.
If you have a question or want more information, please use the form at the bottom of the page.

NZISM is often called upon (eg. by MBIE, WorkSafe and others) to respond to consultations or draft guidance on specific topics. When the opportunity arises, members are invited to provide input to help shape our collective response. This might be via surveys, online discussions, or email.
