We're looking for a Safety Advisor who enjoys working with people just as much as they enjoy improving safety outcomes. One day you might be delivering a classroom workshop, the next facilitating an online training session, conducting a site audit or working alongside a client to strengthen their health and safety systems.
This is a varied role where you'll combine technical health and safety expertise with strong communication skills and a genuine ability to build relationships.
What you will be doing
- Delivering engaging health and safety training both face-to-face and online
- Facilitating workshops, seminars and learning sessions for clients
- Conducting site audits, inspections and reviews
- Providing practical health and safety advice and consultancy support
- Helping clients improve systems, processes and compliance outcomes
- Building strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Promoting services and identifying opportunities to support business growth
- Producing clear reports and recommendations following audits and reviews
What we're looking for
You'll be someone who can confidently move between the training room, a construction site and a client meeting.
Supported by relevant qualifications in health and safety and adult education, we’re looking for candidates with these skills:
- Health and safety experience within construction or a related industry
- Experience delivering training to adult learners
- Confidence facilitating both in-person and online learning
- Strong auditing, inspection and reporting capability
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify client needs
- Strong digital skills and confidence using online learning and reporting platforms
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to health and safety
