We're looking for an experienced electrical professional who is passionate about sharing knowledge, developing people and helping create safer workplaces.

Joining a respected organisation serving New Zealand's construction and related industries, you'll deliver a mix of electrical and health and safety training to learners at various stages of their careers. You'll facilitate engaging classroom and online learning, assess competency and help learners build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.

This role offers the opportunity to combine your industry experience with your passion for teaching, coaching and supporting others to learn.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering electrical and safety training in both classroom and virtual environments
  • Facilitating learning for a wide range of audiences and experience levels
  • Assessing learner understanding and marking assessments
  • Supporting learners to achieve successful outcomes
  • Creating inclusive, engaging and culturally safe learning environments
  • Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of training programmes
  • Promoting additional learning opportunities and services where appropriate
  • Completing learner administration, reporting and course documentation

What we're looking for

  • Current EWRB Registration
  • Adult Education or Training qualification (Level 5 preferred)
  • Unit Standard 4098 highly desirable
  • Experience delivering technical, trade or workplace-based training
  • Confidence facilitating both classroom and online learning
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience assessing learner competency and outcomes
  • Strong digital capability and confidence using learning platforms
  • A genuine passion for developing people

Construction industry knowledge would be an advantage, but your ability to connect with learners and create meaningful learning experiences is what will set you apart.
