About the role

This is a chance to lift HSW from solid operational delivery into a stronger strategic function. You will lead strategy, governance, assurance, critical risk and a small HSW team while staying connected to the work being done in the field. The role needs a practical HSW leader who can influence SLT and Board, support leaders and keep safety simple, useful and relevant.

Duties

• Lead HSW strategy, roadmap and governance
• Lead and support a small HSW team
• Own critical risk, controls and assurance
• Provide Board, SLT and regulatory reporting
• Strengthen contractor HSW performance

Skills and experience

• Senior HSW leadership in a high-risk setting
• Experience leading or mentoring HSW staff
• HSW strategy, systems and assurance experience
• Critical risk and incident governance capability
• Strong SLT, Board and operational influence
