About the role

A full time, permanent position, reporting to the Head of Group Health and Safety and Customer Experience. Provide administrative and technical support to both the Health and Safety team and the wider business. Your work will directly contribute to helping businesses implement effective health and safety practices.

• Reviewing pre-qualification documents from contractors and suppliers

• Manage inbound and outbound phone calls and emails

• Answer basic health and safety queries specific to our customer base

• Support reporting and next steps for incidents and near-misses

• Assist in monitoring and reporting on health and safety performance metrics

Skills and experience

You will have a superb interpersonal skillset, providing an exceptional customer experience to a range of customers with various levels of Health and Safety understanding. A team player who is flexible and adaptable would fit in best with the team.

• Health and Safety qualification (NZQA Level 4 or equivalent)

• Understanding of the residential construction environment desirable

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite and comfortable learning new systems

• A practical, solution-focused mindset

• Confidence working with mobile devices and online solutions.
