Our client is one of New Zealand's leading civil infrastructure organisations, delivering projects that help shape communities across the country. They're investing in their Health & Safety team and are looking for a practical, people-focused Health & Safety Advisor to support projects across the Auckland region.
This isn't a desk-based compliance role. You'll spend time where it matters most – on site, partnering with operational leaders, engaging with frontline teams and helping ensure critical risks are effectively managed.
You'll lead and support incident investigations, coach leaders, verify critical controls, contribute to audits and provide practical advice that improves how work is carried out every day. Strong communication is essential, as you'll be equally comfortable building relationships on site as you are producing clear, high-quality investigation reports.
What we’re looking for
- Health and safety qualification (NZQA Level 4 +)
- Experience in construction, civil or similar high-risk industry
- Strong site engagement, coaching and relationship building skills
- Confident leading investigations and writing quarterly reports
