Logging CPD (Continuing Professional Development) is compulsory for NZISM's accredited members. For all other members, it is voluntary.

NZISM's myCPD platform is available to all members via your Dashboard. You can also access it through the My Settings menu

NZISM has a CPD Review panel who look at a random selection of member CPD each year to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.

No, logging CPD is only required once you are an accredited member. However, we recommend all unaccredited members consider logging their CPD as an easy way of keeping track of learning.

Yes, unless you are a member of IOSH or Saiosh and you record your CPD activity with them. If you are selected for CPD review, please contact us to advise which organisation you log CPD with (you may still need to provide evidence that CPD is being completed)

No, NZISM uses a reflective practice model instead of a points-based system. This means each member can create a unique CPD journey through self-reflection.

Knowledge Assessment completed in the old NZISM membership system are not available however NZISM staff can still access these on your behalf. Please email cpd@nzism.org to request a copy.

NZISM no longer offers the Knowledge Assessment this website however you can access the INSHPO Self-Assessment tool via their website to use instead.
