General FAQs

It's easy to reset - the reset password link is on your login screen. You should receive a reset password email within 5 minutes as long as:

  1. Your account is still active, and
  2. The email you provided matches the primary email address we hold on record for you.

Please start by checking your spam or junk folder. If the email isn’t there, make sure you’re checking the email address you originally used to register your member account, as it may be different from your current one.

If you no longer have access to the email address linked to your account, please log a request through the Service Desk or contact us at admin@nzism.org for assistance.

When you first log in using a new device, we send a verification text to the mobile number we have on file for you. If you don't receive the text, please log a ticket using the Service Desk, or email admin@nzism.org. It could be we have an obsolete mobile number.

This is something you can do easily yourself.

From your Dashboard select 'My Settings' then 'Password Change'.

You can update your branch affiliation by logging in to your NZISM Member Portal and update your branch (region) in My settings.

Only current NZISM members and sponsors receive our fortnightly online newsletter - NZISM News.

If you are not an NZISM member, consider joining us to receive our newsletter and many other member benefits!

You can self-manage your Email Preferences from the Email Preferences tile on your Dashboard.

You can subscribe/unsubscribe from our WISE, ESL, HSR, event communications and NZISM News.

Other emails are transactional (eg. invoices) or we are required to send to meet certain legislative requirements (eg. Notice of AGM) and you are not able to unsubscribe from these.

Yes, your membership certificate can be downloaded from the My Settings section of your Dashboard. Look for the little orange rosette!
