About the role

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for driving high standards of HSEQ performance across multiple construction projects.

Duties

• Lead and mentor a regional HSEQ team to deliver consistent outcomes
• Partner with project teams to manage critical construction risks
• Drive implementation and improvement of HSEQ systems and processes
• Provide strategic advice to regional leadership on risk, compliance and performance
• Oversee audits, reporting, investigations and assurance activities
• Champion a culture of safety, quality and environmental responsibility
• Support tenders and preconstruction planning with HSEQ expertise

Skills and experience

You will be a proven HSEQ leader with significant construction experienceand the ability to influence at all levels.

You will bring:

• Significant experience in successful HSEQ leadership within construction
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001 systems
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and driving cultural change
• Expertise in audits, incident investigations and compliance frameworks
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience with digital HSEQ systems and continuous improvement
• Relevant tertiary qualifications are also required
