Tauranga: ACC Levy Changes and Q & A Session

From 1 April 2026, ACC will implement the next phase of levy changes confirmed through the 2024 Levy Consultation.

Presented by Fabiola Morlang-Gonzales, Relationship Manager for ACC, this session provides a heads up on what is changing and what it may mean for your business, so you have time to plan ahead.

A key change is the removal of cross‑subsidisation of the Experience Rating programme. From 1 April 2026, only businesses in Experience Rating will contribute to the cost of the programme through a new Work Levy (ER) rate. This rate combines the standard Work Levy with the Experience Rating Programme rate, currently set at 7.2 percent. The No Claims Discount programme will also be removed.

We will also cover upcoming changes to payment plans and late payment interest and explain how these changes may appear on future invoices.

This session is designed to help you understand what is changing, why it is happening, and what you may need to consider for your business going forward.

Q & A
We will finish with a Q&A session with Fabiola. - To make sure she can give the most useful and informed answers, attendees are invited to submit questions in advance, email: bayofplenty@nzism.org.
Please send your question no later than one week before the event so Fabiola has time to prepare.

Light refreshments will be provided.
