Tauranga: Human-Centred Controls - A Structured Process to Meet Due Diligence

Join us to discover how human‑centred critical controls can transform your due‑diligence approach and lift real‑world safety outcomes.

A human-centred critical control is a control (barrier, safeguard, or mitigation) that explicitly recognises the role of people—their judgment, adaptability, limitations, and expertise—in making the control effective under real-world conditions.

Together we’ll explore fresh perspectives from the global Safety Differently community (Griffith University, Art of Work etc), who Moni is now working with internationally – currently being implemented in aviation, horticulture, construction, shipping and agriculture in NZ.

  • Moving from compliance to Better Work
  • Control theory – bridging the gap between Work-as-Imagined and Work-as-Done
  • Managing Critical Steps in a dynamic work environment
  • Designing effective controls using human-centred principles
  • Measurement of control effectiveness using human-centred assessment criteria

This session is insightful, practical, and engaging.

We hope it sparks new ways of thinking in your work.
