WorkSafe is currently developing two draft Approved Codes of Practice (ACOPs) for the agriculture sector

Focusing on the draft ACOP for vehicles, this is the second of two sessions where we have the chance to walk through the proposed content and provide feedback for the NZISM submission.

The draft ACOPs focus on roles and responsibilities in agriculture and the safe use of farm vehicles and machinery. They aim to clarify expectations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and give businesses more certainty about “what good looks like” in everyday farm scenarios.

Full copies of the proposed ACOP's will be sent when they are released for consultation.
