In this session, Greg Cain will discuss the HSWA Amendment Bill, tracking its progress through Parliament and outlining the key proposed changes. This includes updates to the Health and Safety at Work (General Risk and Workplace Management) Regulations 2016 and the implications for PCBUs and health and safety practitioners.

Greg will also share his perspective on the Bill’s stated objectives to:

Greg is a Partner at Dentons, specialising in employment law and health and safety. He is a highly experienced specialist with over 25 years in practice advising central and local Government, private enterprise and not-for-profit organisations on all aspects of employment and health and safety issues.
