MANUFACTURING, 6-99 EMPLOYEES

An ACC subsidy is now available for small-medium sized manufacturing companies (6-99 employees) who access health and safety advice from consultants on the HASANZ Register. HASANZ sees this as just the first Govt incentive to direct companies to the Register with hopefully other sectors being involved in the future.

We would encourage all members to promote this subsidy as widely as possible. Although the subsidy itself is relatively small (50% of the cost of advice up to $500 for 6-50 employees / $1,300 for 51-99 employees) it is a great opportunity to raise awareness of the benefits of using appropriately qualified H&S professionals and perhaps nudge some smaller companies into developing an action plan to address specific issues.
