Seeking a solutions focussed Health and Safety Advisor ready to take the next step in an exciting, varied environment

The role
Responsible for maintaining and implementing a best practice health and safety framework, this role will support the Health and Safety Manager in ensuring ongoing Health, Safety and Wellbeing cohesion across all business units.
An exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career, you will require highly developed communication skills and a collaborative style. With a view to the bigger picture, solid technical knowledge is essential to applying safety in this unique environment.
Duties
· Work proactively with Managers, employees and stakeholders to ensure compliance
· Maintain Critical Risk registers and safety documentation
· Identify high risk areas and compliance gaps
· Conduct risk assessments and identify training needs
· Provide support to Managers and Health and Safety Representatives
· Ensure correct and current information in the online SMS
· Audit and review as required
· Assist with investigations and follow up corrective actions
· Conduct inductions and training as required
Skills and experience
· Minimum Level 3 OSH Certificate
· Reasonable level of experience in a similar role
· Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations
· Proven experience and attention to detail in developing documentation
· Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
· The ability to engage and deliver in a cross functional environment
