Practical, site-based Advisor required for this busy CBD construction site

My client is growing and need to expand their established safety team. They pride themselves on their family values and have great staff retention, building careers as well as landmark developments.

With 70 years in the industry, they have been involved in the construction, refurbishment and fit out of many well-known buildings, taking pride in what they do.

About the role

This role requires practical, working knowledge of the HSWA and how to apply it in a busy construction environment. You’ll use your expertise in risk management to ensure safe work happens and have a proven track record in communicating company safety standards to a range of stakeholders.

Risk assessment, auditing and reporting are a part of the role, as is supporting and/or holding toolbox talks and providing relevant information for these. A competent level of IT skills is required and your continued development will be supported. A background on the tools may support you in succeeding in this role. Experience in contractor management is an advantage.

• Level IV Certificate in OSH or NEBOSH IGC

• ICAM training preferred

• Solid experience in a similar role

• Commitment to continued professional development

• Flexibility, and a calm approach to challenges
