Manage compliance activities and deliver and execute the compliance programme for a unique and diverse portfolio of properties

About the role

Working with the Facilities and Property teams, this role is heavily involved in property compliance and health and safety. Provide specialist compliance advice on a range of properties including marine, parks, libraries, car parks and retirement villages.

This role owns contractors and contract management including inspections, audits, building WOFS, training and reviewing health and safety processes. Building good, strong working relationships with contractors and tenants is essential.

Duties

• Maintain and manage the asbestos / meth register and testing

• Manage maintenance contracts and agreements

• Create and oversee a compliance activities programme

• Perform health and safety inspections and audits

• Proactively monitor and evaluate compliance systems and processes

• Undertake project activities to develop property portfolio

• Handle enquires and complaints for all compliance activities

• Recommend ways to improve delivery and quality of inspections

• Be the safety point of contact for contractors, tenants, employees and the public

Skills and experience

• HSE experience in a property / facilities / construction background

• Qualifications in asbestos / meth management are preferred

• Working knowledge of property and facilities management

• Full class 1 drivers’ licence

• Self-managing and self-administrative
