We’re looking for an experienced health and safety professional, with a passion for helping businesses become safer.

As one of our Safety Advisors you’ll be working alongside companies in the construction industry helping them embed health and safety behaviour and systems that make a difference. This will involve facilitating classroom and online training sessions, undertaking on-site Health and Safety Site Reviews (audits) and providing health and safety consulting services. You’ll also be out and about connecting with industry to build relationships and promote Site Safe in the Bay of Plenty region.

We’re looking for an experienced and qualified health and safety professional. Ideally this will be backed up with a Health and Safety and/or Adult Education qualification. Knowledge of construction, or similar, industries would also be an advantage.

This role is part of the Northern Regional team based in Auckland and, as such, requires someone who is resourceful, flexible and enjoys working independently. This role would be based at your home (or other appropriate location) in the Bay of Plenty (with flexibility on actual location), with travel to regional locations to deliver training and connect with industry.
