About the role

Can be based in Auckland or Christchurch. You will lead the implementation and culture of best practice while supporting the Construction teams to monitor compliance and quality of projects. Lead the office-based quality assurance support team and manage to continuously improve the quality assurance framework.

Duties

• Be the subject matter expert in quality assurance and quality control

• Deliver world class results, through supporting the construction leaders and onsite teams

• Motivate and inspire your team to deliver successful, best practice outcomes

• Key role in the development of quality assurance frameworks

• Identify key areas for improvement

• Provide reporting that utilises lead and lag indicators

• Monitor and support compliance with the Building Act and other relevant legislation

• Plus much, much more

Skills and experience

Your practical, pragmatic nature and commercial construction experience will be greatly valued within this environment of growth and continuous improvement. You will be a natural leader and have the following:

• Relevant tertiary qualification

• Working knowledge of ISO and best practice Quality frameworks and standards

• Solutions focussed with great attention to detail

• Systems and process orientated with a genuine interest in quality and robust controls

• Strive for excellence – providing clear communication to all stakeholders

• Flexible, adaptable and able to deliver outcomes and service at speed
