Our client is seeking an experienced health and safety coordinator with previous experience in injury management and return to work programs

The role
Key to this role will be your previous experience in Injury Management and assisting in Return to Work programmes and audits, working alongside Managers and Team Leaders to achieve successful outcomes.
You will be required to travel to different regions of New Zealand, to assist with audits and contribute to everyday safety within all facets of the business. This is an ideal role for someone looking to expand their HSE experience and you may be currently studying.
Leading by example, you will most of all be passionate about HSE and have an investigative mind. You will be focussed and a people-person to support employees of all levels.
Duties
· Monitor and manage the staff HS incident and injury process
· Monitor investigations and corrective actions
· Support employees with RTW programmes
· Liaise with external stakeholders including ACC
· Implement risk management techniques and processes
· Engage, mentor and drive employees on HSE performance
· Support senior management with HS matters
Skills and experience
· Experience in a similar role
· RTW and injury management experience is essential
· Knowledge of the ACC programme is an advantage
· Excellent time-management and organisational skills
· Strong problem-solving skills
· High degree of self-motivation
· General knowledge and experience of health and safety in the workplace
· Willingness to learn and contribute to an established safety team
