This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing function in a large and complex organisation dedicated to the health of our community.
About the role
Reporting to the GM People and Capability, you will lead the strategic direction of workplace health, safety and wellbeing across Nelson Marlborough Health. You will provide specialist advice and coaching on the management, implementation, evaluation and continual improvement of health, safety and wellbeing strategy, policies, systems and processes.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 80 hours a fortnight.
About you
We are looking for someone with a passion for workplace health, safety and wellbeing, who wants to partner with the business to grow organisational capability. While you will have relevant Health and Safety qualifications and experience within a complex organisation; critically you will have a track record of creating a positive safety culture. You may have experience in the health sector, however, this is not essential. More importantly, you will be willing to build on the successes of the current team and continue to drive the organisation towards excellence in health and safety.

Whilst this role is based in Nelson, this position will require travel across the Nelson Marlborough district.
