About the role
On a daily basis you’ll provide HSE knowledge to the operations team and leaders, increasing their capability to make good decisions about safety. You’ll also
• Lead or assist with investigations
• Provide expert advice on compliance
• Provide training
• Assist with the management of sub-contractors
• Support effective injury management
Skills and experience
If you are the collaborative type, who can work at all levels of a business, supporting growth in health, safety and the environment, without the need to throw the rule book around, then this could be the role for you.
A background in civils or construction would be helpful and its important that you be adaptable and have the utmost integrity in what you do – leading by example at all times.
Relevant qualifications in OHS, auditing and investigations are required and you must have the right to work in NZ already in place. A full and clean drivers’ licence is also required.
