Our client seeks an administrative superstar to assess, control and monitor staff competency and training as part of the HSQE team

About the role

Reporting to the HSQE Manager, this role will be responsible for updating the Learning Management System and managing competency requirements.

You will contribute to an environment of continuous improvement where improvements are proactively identified, developed and realised.

Working as part of the established Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental team, the successful candidate will also provide administrative support for monthly health and safety meetings and manage expense reporting for the team.

Duties

• Manage the Learning Management System (MLS) and employee competencies and training

• Analyse and report on training and competency data

• Book/manage training for employees

• Employee/contractor inductions – including facilitation, content creation

• Assist with subcontractor management audits, reporting and communication

• Perform audits as required

• Support the HSQE Manager in all HSQE matters for the region

• Assist with the preparation of monthly team and regional meetings

Skills and experience

• Practical experience in an HSQE environment

• Relevant qualifications in OHS are desirable

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• High level skill with Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel

• Friendly and engaging manner
