Let's start with the "life" part of the equation. In your new role as Health and Safety Facilitator with Eastland Network, you will be living in the beautiful Tairāwhiti region, renowned for sunshine and surfing.

You'll be based in modern open plan offices near the centre of Gisborne. Each day you can enjoy barista-style coffee and free fruit, and pick fresh salads from our on-site garden. At lunchtime, jump on one of our electric bikes and head down to the beach, or to the nearby gym to make the most of your subsidised membership. You can also take advantage of our flexible hours, including working a 9-day fortnight if that suits you, giving you more time to explore this unique part of New Zealand.

Now for the work side of things.

This is an exciting and challenging role where your purpose is to build an inclusive and proactive safety culture, raise H&S awareness, and ensure legislative compliance. We need an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Facilitator to champion the management and administration of our H&S responsibilities across Network operations.

Reporting to the General Manager of Eastland Network, you'll be part of a supportive Health and Safety team who work throughout our sectors.
