Part-time 30 hours per week + on-call
Hastings District Council is seeking an additional Health & Safety Coordinator to join our established Health & Safety Team. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you will be supporting Council’s Managers with day to day management of health and safety risks, engaging with staff to promote health, safety and wellbeing initiatives, undertaking site audits and inspections and delivering hands on health and safety training.
To be successful, you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Health & Safety and/or have at least two years’ experience in a similar professional role.
You will need excellent communication and influencing skills, experience with hazard management processes, document writing and compliance and a proven record of achievement, drive and initiative.
