The Health & Safety Business Partner is the lead technical health and safety (H&S) expert. A highly visible role requiring leadership of H&S initiatives and practices to ensure the company builds a strong safety culture with robust and sustainable practices. The three primary objectives of the role include having a clear focus and programme of work for the effective control of risks, to support and cultivate a culture of active participation and responsibility for maintaining and evolving Nelmac’s H&S systems, practices and procedures.
The ideal candidate will be a leader who has the ability to influence and engage people at all levels and who can provide advice, support and coaching. They will have significant experience in workplace health & safety, ideally across a diverse range of industries and excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation, with a focus on best practices.
