Are you a creative and innovative health, safety and wellbeing professional with a high level of understanding of modern safety and wellbeing principles, including HOP and Safety II?

In this permanent and full-time management position, you will be working with a wide range of stakeholders to engage, empower and enable our workers to create a safe and healthy workplace which supports wellbeing. You will be responsible for working alongside our people to proactively identify and manage risks, identify opportunities for improvement, and find innovative solutions to emerging problems. Your focus on coaching and supporting others to achieve great outcomes will play a key part in improving performance and lifting engagement on health, safety and wellbeing across the University.

Your qualifications in health and safety will be supported by your experience working in a multifaceted organisational environment. Complexity and competing demands are just an opportunity for you to work collaboratively to find practical solutions. You will need to have proven interpersonal skills and an ability to build and maintain effective relationships, and can demonstrate that you can communicate complex ideas in a simple way. An attention to detail, with an ability to critically assess and analyse issues and creatively solve problems is key to success in this role.
