Seeking a knowledgeable Safety, Health and Wellbeing Advisor with a passion for engineering and the environment

The role

Your ability to mentor and influence will be key to this role, providing HSW support and advice to both project staff and clients. A high achieving company, you will work alongside skilled practitioners to deliver a great client experience and outstanding results, while continually striving for improvement and best practice.

Supporting offices in Wellington, Nelson and Christchurch, you are able to base yourself in any of these locations and will travel on a fortnightly rotation between the three locations.

Duties

* Provide health, safety and wellbeing advice and support to staff and project staff

* Provide HSW training and inductions

* Engage with client safety representatives

* Prepare health, safety and wellbeing documents and proposals

* Coordinate and support Safety Rep and Management committees

* Provide support for investigations and incident management

* Prepare and deliver health safety and wellbeing presentations to staff and clients

Skills and experience

* Grad Diploma in OSH, NEBOSH or equivalent

* ICAM Investigation qualification and experience

* Audit training and experience

* Proven organisational skill

* Excellent time management skill and the ability to work autonomously

* Significant experience in a similar industry

* Solid presentation skills, with both large and small groups
