Provide sound, practical knowledge in health and safety – prior manufacturing experience is essential.
Global leaders in their industry, this company is well established in NZ, with sites in both the North and South Islands. This role will provide dedicated health, safety and environmental guidance to the South Island site, with the opportunity to contribute to projects in the wider business.
To be considered for this role, you must have a solid background in manufacturing and be able to provide support at all levels of the business. There are 100 staff on site and you’ll work closely with managers, supporting them in investigations and injury management, developing their capability along the way.
Other duties will include
• Oversight of ISO 14001 accreditation
• Audit process
• Administering the safety management system (Mango)
• Providing data for regional reporting
• Supporting the site HSE Committee
Senior experience in a similar role is expected along with the relevant qualification; Level 6 Diploma minimum and ICAM certification.
There is some flexibility in location, which we can have a chat about, this is a visible role, so onsite presence is key, but you’ll get out of the office a few times a year, travelling to the North Island sites.
